We are looking for a Technical Services Manager based in Kamloops who brings both strong technical expertise and a collaborative, "can-do" attitude to support our teams and continue driving innovation across our operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies in a dynamic, multi-market media environment with meaningful impact on daily operations.
Qualifications- Genuine enthusiasm for broadcasting and a strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support junior technicians in a collaborative team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to teach and share knowledge, fostering growth and development within the technical team
- Graduate of a recognized Electronics Technician or Technologist program
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analysis of end-to-end workflows
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair of studio, transmitter, and antenna systems
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and see them through to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of IP networking, server infrastructure, or cloud-based broadcast systems is an asset

Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and support the local technical team, including training and developing junior technicians
- Develop and manage the capital and operating budgets
- Maintenance, repair, and installation of audio/video studio and transmission equipment, computer equipment, and associated servers and networks
- Maintenance of broadcast systems such as Wide Orbit, Burli, Music Master, and similar platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, introduce new technologies, and drive continuous improvement across broadcast and digital operations
- Ensure systems are aligned with corporate standards, cybersecurity practices, and evolving IT infrastructure
- Develop and maintain technical records and drawings using MS Visio
- Work closely with programming, news, and corporate teams to deliver reliable technical solutions and support evolving operational needs
