You'll need strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple requests throughout the day. A positive attitude, willingness to help wherever needed, and commitment to follow‑through are essential.

If you like keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting technicians, and contributing to a well organized fleet program, this role may be a great fit.

  • Maintain accurate records of parts pickups, deliveries, and vendor interactions.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with required equipment.
  • Assist with miscellaneous shop duties such as organizing tools, cleaning work areas, and supporting equipment mobilization.
  • Communicate proactively with mechanics, the Fleet Coordinator, and vendors regarding part status, delays, or issues.
  • Support basic fleet documentation such as logging part numbers, updating inventory sheets, or assisting with repair records.
  • Respond quickly to urgent part requests to help minimize equipment downtime.
  • Follow safe driving practices, shop safety protocols, and proper handling of parts, tools, and materials.

What You Bring

  • Consistent follow through, punctuality, and dependability in day-to-day fleet support tasks.
  • Ability to keep parts, tools, inventory areas, and delivery records organized and easy to navigate.
  • Careful verification of part numbers, quantities, and vendor pickups to prevent delays or errors.
  • Professional communication with mechanics, the Fleet Coordinator, vendors, and field teams.
  • Comfort coordinating pickups, confirming availability, and handling basic vendor follow up.
  • Staying organized and responsive when multiple part requests or priorities come in at once.
  • Practical understanding of tools, parts, or equipment is an asset (not required).
  • Ability to plan routes, prioritize pickups, and support shop timelines efficiently.
  • Taking initiative to resolve small issues, locate parts, or support mechanics without waiting for direction.
  • Safe driving habits and confidence navigating between shops, vendors, and job sites.
  • Willingness to help wherever needed in the shop, yard, or fleet operations.
  • Maintaining professionalism and composure when priorities shift or urgent requests come in.
