Position: Utility Person with Maintenance Skills
Join our team as a Utility Person to handle various manual and maintenance tasks. This role involves furniture assembly, grounds maintenance, and janitorial duties, ensuring a clean and functional facility.

As a Utility Person, you will support the Assistant Director of Building Operations in maintaining our spaces effectively. Your responsibilities will include moving furniture for event setups, performing seasonal grounds tasks, and assisting with basic facilities maintenance. Candidates should be ready for a mix of indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store, move, and deliver furniture and supplies

• Perform seasonal maintenance like snow removal

• Set up and take down furniture for events

• Conduct basic janitorial duties and supply replenishment

• Operate light-duty vehicles and perform minor maintenance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License

• Six months of related experience

• Skills in operating hand and power tools

• Ability to lift over 20 kg regularly
