Be part of NVIT's Merritt Campus team as a Custodian, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in various facilities. This ongoing full-time position involves varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

As a Custodian at NVIT, you will work under the guidance of the Facilities Manager to uphold cleanliness and hygiene in teaching and common areas. Your work will involve a variety of tasks such as sweeping, washing walls, and preparing gym spaces for events. Training in the use of advanced cleaning equipment will be provided, ensuring you are equipped for all assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily cleaning of all campus facilities

• Assist with gym setups for special events

• Handle outdoor cleaning and furniture movement

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the campus

• Collaborate with other custodial team members

Requirements:

• At least two years of related experience

• Capability to perform heavy physical work and lift 50 lbs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bondable with knowledge of Indigenous culture

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
