Recreation Facilities Attendant - Arenas

Become a Recreation Facilities Attendant I responsible for maintaining the city's arenas, providing excellent service to the public. This role is permanent and on-call, emphasizing cleaning and ice maintenance.

The job involves various tasks focused on ensuring our arenas are ready for community use. You will maintain facilities, set up for special events, conduct janitorial work, and manage ice surfaces. Additionally, you'll be the first point of contact for public inquiries, enhancing visitor experiences at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean city arena facilities

• Set up facilities for special events and functions

• Perform ongoing janitorial tasks as needed

• Ensure proper maintenance of ice surfaces

• Direct public inquiries and provide information

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence required

• Completion of valid Refrigeration Operator Certificate
