Maintenance Technician

Become a vital part of ASK Wellness Society as a Maintenance Technician in Kamloops.

Your role will involve diverse repairs including electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance in a client-centered environment.

In this full-time position, you will work under the Director of Facilities and Asset Planning. With a focus on independent and responsible task completion, you will deliver maintenance services while adhering to health and safety guidelines. A strong foundation in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work will serve you well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative maintenance procedures for buildings and grounds

• Perform minor repairs, including plumbing and electrical tasks

• Maintain cleanliness of external areas and handle garbage disposal

• Operate machinery for cleanup and maintenance tasks

• Document maintenance work and logs daily

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with related vocational training

• One year of relevant maintenance experience

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

• Criminal record check for vulnerable sector

• Readiness to complete online training
