Position: Utilities Operator D-2 at TteS
Join Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc as a Utilities Operator D-2, responsible for critical water and wastewater systems. This full-time, permanent position ensures safe operations and offers technical guidance.

As a senior certified operator, you will manage the operation and maintenance of the Utilities systems for the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc community. Key tasks include monitoring SCADA systems, coordinating emergency responses, and leading maintenance activities. You will also work closely with junior operators, enhancing overall operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection systems

• Conduct operational troubleshooting and inspections

• Implement safety and health regulations

• Draft maintenance reports and logs

• Provide mentorship to junior staff

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of municipal utility operations experience

• EOCP Level II certifications in Water and Wastewater

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

• Knowledge of relevant regulations including Drinking Water Protection Act
