Position: Custodian Position with TteS
Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc is seeking a dedicated full-time Custodian to support our community by maintaining clean facilities on the Kamloops Indian Reserve. Your efforts will help to promote health and safety standards.

The custodian role involves thorough cleaning and disinfecting of various spaces, including offices and community areas, ensuring compliance with health protocols. You will routinely carry out detailed cleaning activities, monitor cleanliness standards, and support maintenance tasks as required, making a significant impact on our work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct frequent cleaning of offices and washrooms

• Ensure safety in the workplace through proper cleaning

• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment care

• Perform spot cleaning of spills and clutter

• Document issues and report to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 10 education or equivalent

• First Aid, CPR Level C certification required

• Good physical shape to handle cleaning tasks

• Completion of WHMIS safety training

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
