Position: Tk’emlúps Utilities Operator D-2 Role
Become a crucial part of Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc as a Utilities Operator D-2. Manage and ensure the safety of our water and wastewater systems while directly impacting the TteS Reserve community.

As a senior operator, your expertise will dictate the safe operation, maintenance, and inspection of the utility systems.

Your role is not just about technical proficiency; it includes mentoring junior operators and ensuring they uphold safety procedures. A strong background in municipal utility operations and SCADA systems is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain wastewater and water distribution systems

• Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot issues

• Record daily operations and draft reports

• Lead safety procedures and compliance protocols

• Assist with leak detection and emergency responses

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant utility operations experience

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

• Knowledge in Water & Wastewater Technology

• Proficiency with SCADA systems

• Ability to perform under emergency conditions
