Position: Janitorial Services at Day One Society
Join Day One Society as a Janitorial Services team member. You will help maintain a pristine environment at both our 922 Third Avenue and 782 Seymour Street locations.

As a housekeeper, you will report to the Detox Program Supervisor and ensure cleanliness across various client care areas. This role demands responsiveness in a high-stakes environment, as you will interact with clients facing challenging situations, requiring both empathy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in all building areas and client washrooms

• Clean and prepare adult and youth patient rooms

• Stock necessary supplies in shared spaces

• Maintain and report on cleaning equipment status

• Perform additional housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with institutional cleaning preferred

• At least 2 years in a team environment

• Working knowledge of WHMIS and Outlook

• Excellent communication and crisis response abilities
