Snowmaker

You Will

• Safely operate snow making and related equipment, performing pre and post operation checks.
• Perform daily light maintenance (topping up fluids, cleaning interior and exterior, greasing, and fueling of machine).
• Layout, connect and charge hoses during setup.
• Monitor and adjust snow making pumps and guns as required.
• Discharge, disconnect, thaw and drain hoses for teardown.
• Recognize and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Snow making Team Lead.
• Perform snow removal and snow farming (including snow making and snow fencing).
• Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Work flexible shifts, including afternoons, graveyards, holidays and weekends, in extreme weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience with snow making or terrain building, with an excellent safety record.
• Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of basic operations and equipment maintenance.
• The physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs, perform manual labor, stand for prolonged periods, and work in all outdoor conditions.
• Comfort working with high voltage and high-water pressure.
• A basic understanding of mountain resort maintenance and ski/snowboarding terrain needs.
• A team-oriented mindset and a desire to make a positive contribution to the entire resort.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of people.

• Competitive Wage: $19.77 - $20.08 per hour.
