Airport Technician

Position: Vantage Group Airport Technician 3
Contribute to Vantage Group's mission as an Airport Technician 3 at Kamloops Airport, where you will ensure safe operations through proactive maintenance and emergency readiness. This is a key role suited for those with expertise in airport facilities management.

This position requires an individual with extensive maintenance experience and certifications needed for airport operations. As part of the airport's maintenance team, you will handle various maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance and safety at all times. Your expertise will support our continual commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on vehicles

• Maintain facility infrastructure through inspections

• Fulfill training requirements for emergency response certifications

• Join the emergency response team effectively

• Safely operate mobile airport equipment

Requirements:

• At least five years of airport or industrial experience

• Completion of Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification

• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license with necessary endorsements

• Obtain Restricted Operator Certificate and Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit

• Must meet stringent medical and physical demands of the job
