Lead the Desert Gardens Day Program as a Program Coordinator at Interior Community Services in Kamloops, BC. Oversee operations and empower diverse individuals towards independent living.
This temporary full-time position requires a dedicated leader with a degree or diploma in Social Work, Human Services, or related fields. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting individuals with diverse abilities and at least 1 year in a supervisory role. This role focuses on quality service delivery and promoting a collaborative environment for both staff and participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations of the Desert Gardens Day Program
• Recruit, supervise, and develop program staff
• Ensure compliance with agency and licensing standards
• Collaborate with families and community partners
• Conduct program budget oversight and operational resource management
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant field preferred
• 2 years of experience with diverse individuals
• 1 year of supervisory leadership experience
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence required
• Successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
