As a valued team member at TOMCO, you'll either hold a Journeyman certification or be in your 3rd Year of training. This position involves performing various machining operations such as cold cutting, flange facing, and more, while receiving direction from the Operations Supervisor. You'll be responsible for maintaining tools, ensuring job specifications are met, and completing necessary paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in machine operations and verify finished product specifications
• Follow safety measures and company protocols precisely
• Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment regularly
• Document job progress according to company guidelines
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other machinists
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• Successful completion of safety-related courses required
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
• Willingness to travel and work varying hours
• Valid driver’s license mandatory
