Component Exchange Specialist

Join Finning Canada as a Component Exchange Specialist in Kamloops on a permanent basis. This role involves extensive engine and powertrain assembly and disassembly.

In this position, you will be crucial for assembling and disassembling various components, including engines and powertrains. Daily responsibilities encompass precision measuring, utilizing Caterpillar SIS and ET, and completing technical documentation. You will interact with both internal and external customers, ensuring smooth operations and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble engines and powertrains

• Support disassembly for specialty welding tasks

• Measure components and salvage parts accurately

• Complete technical documentation like service reports

• Collaborate with the Service Supervisor on various tasks

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Ticket is an asset

• Safety-conscious with strong communication skills

• Repair experience with Caterpillar products preferred

• Experience in engine rebuilding is an asset

• Previous power generation experience preferred
