Packaging Mechanic – Bottle Packaging Lines
Open to Canadian Citizens Eligible for TN Visa Sponsorship.
Full-time, on-site, with multiple shift options available.
Relocation assistance and temporary accommodation support are available for qualified candidates relocating to Virginia.
Shift Availability1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM. Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half.
Position OverviewThe Packaging Mechanic is responsible for performing setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational support for bottle packaging lines.
Key Responsibilities- Perform changeovers, setups, repairs, and preventative maintenance on bottle packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on packaging lines.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, compressors, and automated packaging systems.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Support equipment installation and line optimization activities.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, OSHA, and quality standards.
- Train and support Packaging Operators on machine operation and cleaning procedures.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance of bottle packaging lines.
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, setup, disassembly, and machine changeovers.
- Experience with in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, supplements, food, or beverage manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of cGMP and OSHA standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.
- High-speed packaging line experience.
