Finning Canada is hiring a Component Exchange Specialist in Kamloops. This permanent role revolves around critical engine and powertrain work, perfect for skilled technicians.

As part of our Kamloops team, the Component Exchange Specialist will be tasked with various responsibilities, including disassembling and reassembling engine components such as final drives and torque converters. The role also involves precision measuring and utilizing the Caterpillar SIS and ET systems. You're expected to provide support to welding tasks and maintain high standards in technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble engine and powertrain components

• Provide disassembly support for welding tasks

• Conduct precision measurements and parts salvage

• Complete technical documentation for services

• Interact with customers for service-related queries

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Ticket is advantageous

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Previous experience with Caterpillar products preferred

• Engine rebuilding experience highly valued

• Familiarity with hydraulic and transmission testing an asset
