• A Journeyman ticket, diploma, or technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, or related field (asset).
• 3–5 years of leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understanding of computerized maintenance management systems (preferably JD Edwards).
• Strong work ethic, communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Creative problem‑solving ability and vision for execution.

• Lead a team of tradespeople and apprentices to operate the mill safely and efficiently.
• Develop and enforce safety programs, procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Plan, develop, and execute plant maintenance programs, including equipment databases, downtime analysis, repair and preventative work orders.
• Collaboratively lead innovation and continuous improvement.
