Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and other plant equipment to deliver commercial explosives products to customers safely, timely, and efficiently. Manage on‑site receipt and outgoings of explosives.

What You’ll DoThis is a fly‑in/fly‑out position to Eskay Creek, BC – 2 weeks on‑site/2 weeks off, 12‑hour shifts.
- Drive/operate delivery vehicles on public roads and off‑road mine locations to deliver explosive products safely and on time.
- Operate rigid‑frame, engine‑powered machines (skid‑steer or equivalent).
- Possess basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs or maintenance in the field in accordance with the Dyno Nobel H&S Management System.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the shop, while driving, operating equipment and on blast sites, protecting personal and others’ safety.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports concerning the handling and transportation of explosive products, ensuring accurate billing, regulatory compliance and performance history.
- Maintain safe working conditions and ensure all crew members and others on site follow safety and regulatory procedures.
- Support inventory management and magazine maintenance.
- Minimum Class 3 licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
- 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
- Previous work experience with explosives preferred.
- Must satisfy the requirements for the NRCAN Explosives Handling Permit.
- Acquire and maintain all appropriate licences and certifications required by Federal and Provincial entities.
- Experience with inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to read, write and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must be able to move items weighing up to 60 lbs repeatedly during a working day.
