Join Parks Canada as a Public Relations and Communications Officer IV in Revelstoke, BC. This full-time role involves crafting compelling communications strategies and engaging the community in heritage appreciation.
As a vital member of the Mount Revelstoke and Glacier Field Unit, you will play an essential role in developing public relations products and delivering services. Your expertise in media relations, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement will foster public understanding and support for national heritage initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver communication products and activities
• Engage with media and manage public relations initiatives
• Write and edit diverse communications materials
• Coordinate events and public outreach efforts
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in communications or related field
• Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent
• Experience in media relations and strategic communications
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage priorities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
