Marketing and Communications Manager at NVIT

Location: Merritt

Lead NVIT's marketing and communications as the Manager of Marketing, Communications & Events. This role demands creativity, organization, and leadership to drive strategic initiatives and communications.

In this managerial position, you will oversee marketing strategies, internal and external communications, and event management lab orating with the Enrolment Services department and supervising the Events and Communication Planners, you'll implement the institutional marketing plan and promote key events. Your expertise will ensure effective outreach while fostering respectful relationships across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement NVIT’s marketing plan and strategy

• Manage and promote campus-wide events successfully

• Provide communications support to departments and staff

• Evaluate digital marketing tools and trends for growth

• Update and enhance NVIT's website and marketing materials

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

• Minimum five years experience in marketing/communications

• Proven skills in communication and project management

• Strong understanding of Indigenous issues and communities

• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
