The Healthy Family Program Coordinator is essential in creating and implementing nutrition education and family wellness programming for Métis families with young children. You’ll collaborate with Elders, community organizations, and knowledge keepers to deliver effective and culturally appropriate resources.
Your role will also involve strategic planning and leveraging partnerships to enhance food literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize regional and virtual engagement sessions
• Develop partnerships with community organizations
• Coordinate workshops on healthy cooking and meal planning
• Assist with grant proposals and funding applications
• Track program budgets and performance metrics
Requirements:
• Diploma in Nutrition, Public Health, or relevant field
• Three years of experience in program coordination
• Strong project management and advocacy skills
• Knowledge of Métis culture and food security
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing
