Role and Facility Information
The Kamloops North Shore Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCLC) sees patients who might normally go to a family doctor or nurse practitioner for their ailment, if an appointment had been available. Patients will typically be seen by a physician, but they may also be seen by a physiotherapist, a nurse, a social worker or other clinician, depending on the nature of their injury or illness.
There is team-based care available by referral at the Urgent Primary Care Centre for non‑life‑threatening illnesses or injuries that need same‑day care. This is not a walk‑in clinic.

The Kamloops North Shore UPCC is seeking family physicians to locum this summer!
Dates are flexible throughout January, February and March. The North Shore UPCC is open 7 days a week from 07:30–18:30 with multiple shift options available. Shifts are offered in 4‑hour blocks.
