• Provides nursing care to cardiac patients with complex heart failure, cardiovascular and other related chronic conditions to achieve and maintain optimal health, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice in nursing practice.
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence.
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.

Employment:
This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0–37.5 hours per week on an as‑needed basis. Shifts of work will be Monday to Friday with shift times from 08:00 to 16:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:30, 07:30 to 16:00, or 08:00 to 12:00.
