This position seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in diabetes education and management. Your expertise will enhance the quality of life for patients and families through effective education and collaboration with healthcare providers. You’ll participate in committees and projects, continuously improving your nursing practice and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide diabetes education and support management
• Participate in interdisciplinary team collaborations
• Utilize adult education principles for effective teaching
• Maintain and advance clinical nursing competence
• Engage in designated committees and research projects
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program
• Current BC Nursing registration with BCCNM
• Valid Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification preferred
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience
• Valid BC Driver’s License
