Title: Community Health Nurse – St’at’imc
Salary: $94,724 – $114,261 per year (pay range for 0.5 full‑time equivalent)
Contract: Permanent – part time (0.5 FTE)
Hours: 18.75 hours per week (e.g. 9 am–4 pm Mon‑Wed, core hours 9 am–3 pm Mon‑Fri)
Location: Interior Region – St’at’imc, B.C. (Lillooet)
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)
Job SummaryAs a Community Health Nurse, you will deliver a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services—including community/public health, and primary care—in First Nations communities. You will work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, traveling across the region to promote health, prevent disease and injury, and protect population health.

To be successful in this role you will have or be:
- Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. - Registration :
Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). - Certification :
Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level C; completion of a recognized specialty nursing program is an asset. - Driver’s License :
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License. - Experience :
Minimum one (1) year of recent point‑of‑care nursing experience in a related or relevant field. - Knowledge :
Understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols; knowledge of trans‑cultural nursing concepts and traditional healing practices used in the community.
