About the Job   Nursing care to psychiatric patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
Maintains and advances own clinical competence
Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
RPNs/RNs on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit work in conjunction with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and community mental health partners.
We are looking for  We are looking for a self‑directed, motivated, reliable and flexible mental health‑trained nurse (RN/RPN) who enjoys working in a team environment and has a strong desire to learn. If you are experienced in Mental Health or Substance Use, we want to hear from you!
Shifts  Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.
