Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC. Registered Nurse responsibilities include:

• Provides nursing care to OR patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Enhances quality of life for patients and families; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health‑care providers.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice in nursing.
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence.
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
• Performs circulating and scrubbing duties in all theatre services, including General (MIS bowels, hernias, spleen, whipples), Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Obs/Gyne (LAVH), Urology (MIS Nephrectomy, Cystectomy, PCNLs), Ortho (total joints, sports medicine), ENT, Neuro, Vascular, Major Plastics, Dental, and Laser cases.

Relief Full‑time opportunity until August 19, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.

Shifts will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 15:30, 07:15 to 15:45, 09:30 to 18:00, 10:00 to 18:30, and 22:45 to 07:15. This position includes on‑call requirements.

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area (perioperative nursing) and at least one year of recent related clinical experience in an operating room of similar size and scope to the facility, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
