Essential skills include performing circulations and scrubbing duties, maintaining clinical competence, and participating in hospital committees and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to OR patients independently and as a team
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Implement evidence-based practices in nursing care
• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in various surgical cases
• Participate in research projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM
• CPR certification required
• At least one year of perioperative nursing experience
• Advanced preparation in assigned clinical specialty
