Registered Nurse – Perioperative (Operating Room)

• Provides nursing care to OR patients, both independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Enhances quality of life for patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice in nursing practice.
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence.
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practising registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current CPR certification.
• Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of perioperative nursing and at least one year of recent related clinical experience in an operating room similar in size and scope to the facility or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Permanent full‑time (1.00) position. Shifts are scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 15:30, 07:15 to 15:45, 09:30 to 18:00, 10:00 to 18:30, 22:45 to 07:15 hours, including on‑call requirements.
