Elevate your nursing career with Age Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse in BC. You'll provide compassionate, patient-centered care while being part of a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Age Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians and the care team to ensure resident safety and comfort while managing transitions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and create care plans
• Administer medications and provide direct nursing care
• Coordinate care with medical professionals and support staff
• Respond to emergencies and changes in resident conditions
• Educate residents and families on health and care plans
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in BC
• Experience in senior or long-term care preferred
• Strong clinical skills and care coordination abilities
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
