This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding client care within the perioperative team. You will utilize your three years of acute care experience to mentor new graduate nurses while collaborating closely with educators. Your passion for leadership and high-quality patient care will drive staff development and clinical practice initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical mentorship to nursing staff in perioperative practice
• Support staff training and development initiatives
• Collaborate with nurse educators for rapid clinical support
• Function as a resource for nursing practice guidance
• Lead skills development efforts within the perioperative team
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Minimum three years of acute care in perioperative nursing
• Experience mentoring new graduate nurses
• Leadership training or equivalent experience
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
