Hours8:30 am – 4:30 pm (core hours 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday‑Friday)
LocationOnsite – various locations including Yunesit’in (Alexis Creek), Neskonlith, Lillooet, Lytton. Housing is available at all sites and travel will be compensated.

The Role
As a Community Health Nurse, you will provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities, covering community and public health, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. Responsibilities include health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities and populations.
Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level
C. - Completion of a recognized specialty nursing program is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
- Minimum one year of recent point‑of‑care nursing experience in a related or relevant field.
- Public Health Nursing experience required.
A casual employee will not be entitled to the employer’s benefit plan, vacation or designated holidays. Instead, a premium of 13% is paid for all straight‑time hours worked. All FNHA employees complete San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training and develop a yearly wellness plan as part of their performance partnership and goal‑setting.
