As a full-time Registered Nurse specializing in perinatal care, you will assess and implement nursing interventions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This position emphasizes a commitment to individualized client care and the application of your specialized nursing knowledge. You'll ensure that families receive support in response to evolving health needs while benefiting from a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Deliver client-centered care for mothers and newborns
• Utilize specialized nursing knowledge in daily practice
• Adapt care to meet changing health needs of families
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration in British Columbia
• Advanced preparation in Perinatal clinical specialty
• Current Fetal Health Surveillance certification
• Neonatal and CPR certifications within specified periods
