Infection Control Practitioner at Royal Inland Hospital

Become an Infection Control Practitioner at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. This full-time role focuses on reducing healthcare-associated infections through effective monitoring and education.

This position requires a registered nurse passionate about infection control practices. The Infection Control Practitioner will develop and implement infection control measures across various healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor infection control standards

• Educate and mentor healthcare staff on best practices

• Implement quality improvement initiatives based on evidence

• Conduct surveillance and risk assessments for infections

• Promote client-centered care in assigned programs

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Three years of clinical experience in relevant settings

• Two years in infection control, including outbreak management

• Completion or enrollment in IPAC endorsed courses

• Equivalent education and experience considered
