NICU Registered Nurse BC

Interior Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. This relief full-time role focuses on delivering specialized neonatal care and family support.

In this position, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care in a nurturing NICU environment. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team ensures that client-centered principles are applied effectively to address each family's unique health care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients and plan appropriate care

• Work collaboratively with health care teams

• Develop and execute individualized care strategies

• Provide education to families about newborn health

• Keep informed on nursing science and best practices

Requirements:

• Active BC Registered Nurse license

• Experience in neonatal care preferred

• Strong understanding of client-centered approaches

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility for rotating day and night shifts
