Location: 100 Mile House
Join Interior Health as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at 100 Mile House Hospital. This part-time role offers a chance to excel in emergency nursing within a supportive team environment.
As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will deliver critical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. This position involves independent work and collaboration with various health professionals to enhance patient outcomes. Your commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice will greatly impact patient care in the 10 bed Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to emergency patients independently and in teams
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers
• Maintain and improve clinical competence continuously
• Participate in designated committees and research projects
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration in British Columbia
• Advanced preparation in Emergency Nursing
• CPR certification within last 3 years
• Relevant clinical experience in critical care or emergency
