With this part-time position, you will guide nursing colleagues by sharing your extensive experience in acute care. You will work alongside nurse educators, providing a scaffold for clinical mentorship and practice support, thereby enhancing overall patient care quality. Your commitment to high standards will significantly impact both new and experienced nurses in the perioperative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a mentor for perioperative nursing staff
• Provide clinical resources and guidelines
• Collaborate with educators for effective mentorship
• Support continuous skills development among nurses
• Lead practices that improve clinical excellence
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Minimum three years of experience in acute perioperative care
• Proven mentoring experience with new graduates
• Leadership training or substitutive experience
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
