Become a vital member of the team at Interior Health as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Kamloops, BC. This relief position focuses on mental health care and community support.

The role requires a flexible and motivated RN or RPN to deliver evidence-based treatment to clients with serious mental health, substance use, and developmental challenges. As part of a multi-disciplinary care team, you will provide assessment, treatment, and case management to individuals in need. You’ll also engage with clients in crisis, ensuring access to necessary clinical supports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans

• Manage case details and community support effectively

• Respond urgently to clients in crisis situations

• Utilize specialized therapies for diverse client groups

• Travel within the local area for outreach services

Requirements:

• Current RN or RPN registration in BC

• Experience in mental health and substance use care

• Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities

• Flexibility for outreach work and travel

• Willingness to work in a full-time relief capacity
