We are seeking a dynamic RN or RPN who thrives in a team environment and possesses a strong desire to learn.
Your role will involve providing care to psychiatric patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and engaging in continuous improvement practices. This relief position requires reliability and flexibility with rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients independently and collaboratively
• Enhance patient and family quality of life through consultation and collaboration
• Demonstrate evidence-based practices and maintain clinical competence
• Participate in hospital committees and approved research projects
• Work with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved nursing school with mental health experience
• Two years of recent related experience in mental health
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Valid BC Drivers License
• Reliability and flexibility for shift work
