Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Oncology department at 100 Mile House Hospital. This part-time role provides a chance to impact patient care profoundly.
The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate clinical leadership and effectively implement care plans for oncology patients. As a member of the Interior Health team, you will leverage your nursing expertise to foster client autonomy and collaborate on comprehensive treatment strategies that enhance patient experience and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in developing care treatment plans
• Facilitate client participation in care decisions
• Build effective therapeutic relationships with patients
• Collaborate on care strategies with healthcare teams
• Manage referrals to appropriate health services
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse license in British Columbia
• Oncology experience is a strong asset
• Proficient communication and relationship-building skills
• Flexible to work assigned shifts Tuesday to Thursday
• Engaged in continuous professional training and learning
