Royal Inland Hospital is urgently seeking midwives for its locum LDR positions.
This role offers flexibility with day, night, or 24-hour shifts and includes a collaborative environment with RNs and LDR nurses. Approximately 60-70 deliveries occur monthly, ensuring valuable experience in a tertiary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-call coverage during primary care assessments
• Assist with deliveries and neonatal care in the NICU
• Collaborate with RNs and LDR nurses in patient care
• Manage 12-hour or 24-hour shifts as required
• Support a friendly and professional team environment
Requirements:
• Registered Midwife with locum experience
• Availability for flexible shifts in Kamloops
• Strong collaboration skills with healthcare teams
• Knowledge of neonatal care standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
