Become a Licensed Practical Nurse at Williams Lake Seniors Village, where compassion and care meet in a full-time capacity. Financial incentives include a $10,000 signing bonus along with relocation assistance for new hires.
In this position, you will report to the Director of Care and serve as a role model while leading a team dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized care. Your tasks will include assessing residents, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with nursing regulations. You'll also engage in orientation for new staff and actively enhance community programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized resident care and assess needs
• Liaise with interdisciplinary teams for quality care
• Administer medications and treatment protocols
• Document health changes and coordinate with families
• Lead training sessions for care staff
Requirements:
• Licensed Practical Nurse with BCCNM
• First Aid Level 1 certification
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Proficient in English for effective communication
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
