Stenberg College seeks organized and passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to mentor students in the Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing program. This part-time role involves both lab instruction and clinical supervision in a medical/surgical setting. Instructors provide critical hands-on learning and regulatory oversight as students care for patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during clinical practice
• Facilitate hands-on lab experiences
• Mentor students in skill development
• Collaborate with Clinical Practice team for support
• Schedule flexible clinical hours based on program needs
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with the BCCNM
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum three years nursing experience
• Recent acute medical/surgical experience needed
• Strong software knowledge, including Microsoft Office
