This Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides specialized care for critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and life support. The position uses clinical judgment, critical care procedures, pharmacology, and advanced medical equipment. Collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams supports individualized care plans, while clear family communication remains essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to critically ill patients
- Monitor vital signs and life support systems continuously
- Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips
- Manage ventilators and critical care equipment
- Respond rapidly to changing patient conditions
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications
- Minimum two years recent intensive care experience
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
