Position: Canoe Adventure Guide Wanted

Join us as a Canoe Guide and lead adventurous groups on canoeing excursions while promoting safety and environmental awareness. This role highlights your leadership and public speaking strengths.

As a Canoe Guide, you will lead exciting day trips and potentially overnight tours, focusing on safety, communication, and education. You will engage with diverse groups, sharing your knowledge of canoeing techniques and local ecosystems. Your leadership will help create a collaborative and adventurous spirit among participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead canoe adventure trips ensuring participant safety

• Educate guests about local wildlife and environmental conservation

• Provide clear demonstrations on canoeing techniques

• Foster group dynamics for a cohesive experience

• Maintain equipment and ensure canoes are trip-ready

Requirements:

• Experience guiding on water essential

• 40-hour wilderness first aid certification required

• Class 4 driving license preferred

• Able to lift heavy loads of 30-50 pounds
