As a Recreation Facilities Attendant I, you will assist in maintaining city arenas and civic buildings. This versatile role encompasses facility cleaning, ice maintenance, and customer inquiries during special events. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain recreational facilities including arenas and civic structures
• Set up and clean venues for special community events
• Conduct janitorial upkeep throughout the areas
• Perform essential ice maintenance operations
• Address public inquiries professionally and efficiently
Requirements:
• Completion of senior secondary school or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
• Ice Facility Operator certificate theory completed
• Ability to obtain full certification within four months
• Police information check required for new hires
Engage actively in facilitating recreational events and maintaining city facilities while gaining vital experience in public service.
