Golden Veterinary Services is expanding and seeks a passionate Registered Veterinary Technician to contribute to their team in BC. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, such as assisting with medical examinations, administering vaccinations, and performing vital laboratory work. You will also help educate pet owners and ensure a safe environment for both pets and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in veterinary examinations and medical procedures
• Administer treatments and vaccinations as directed
• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Conduct laboratory analyses like blood tests and cytology
• Educate pet owners on preventative care and recovery
Requirements:
• Active RVT license or eligible for licensure
• Preferred experience in veterinary settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and compassionate approach to pet care
