Dawson Construction seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a full-time position in Kamloops, BC. Ensure that project standards align with industry regulations and client specifications.
In this critical role within the Quality Control Team, you will report to the Manager of Quality and require five years of construction experience. Your expertise in quality standards such as ISO and knowledge of MOTI specifications will be crucial. Engage with stakeholders and the Ministry of Transportation to foster high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out thorough inspections of construction works
- Document daily activities and assess material quality
- Maintain exact records within the Quality Management System
- Tackle incidents of non-conformance with authority
- Travel as required to various job sites
- Engineering technologist degree or comparable qualification
- At least five years of relevant road and maintenance experience
- Understanding of MMCD and ISO quality standards
- Excellent leadership and communication capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
