Take the lead in quality assurance at Highland Valley Copper Mine with Lower Nicola Site Services as a Quality Lead. Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards.

This full-time position, reporting to the Project Manager, is focused on implementing the quality management strategies vital for project success. With a thorough focus on underground utilities, earthworks, and concrete, you will ensure that construction activities meet required standards. The role necessitates close cooperation with field crews and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the project's Quality Management Plan effectively

• Conduct inspections for quality compliance in construction

• Schedule and verify inspections and testing activities

• Identify and track non-conformance issues

• Maintain documentation of inspections and quality records

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil or mining quality assurance

• Ability to interpret and work with engineering specifications

• Familiarity with safety and quality practices in mining

• Relevant certifications (ISO 9001) are an asset

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
